The statement said, "with all due respect Prof, Our Union leaders have made a position which all students of University of Abuja are solemnly in support of it.

Our demands have been stated thrice in a meeting with you and the Union privately.

In as much as we accept your call for a meeting so as to settle the listed issues amicably, we also, with all due respect sir, want to call your attention to the need for a more robust response to all students.

Our heart has been filled already, and not until our demands are fully adhered to in full public glare can we entertain any meeting with you sir. We have met you severally on the same issue and your response is what led to the ultimatum we were forced to issue".

"Please sir, to make everything easier for all parties, we are asking you to meet with all students on Monday for proper address and response to our demands

Majority of the students would like to know your stand on these demands individually.

We would like to hear your stand on our 4 demands", the statement added.
